Wirral Parent Partnership is an information, support and advice service for parents/carers of children with special educational needs and professionals working to support those needs.

Through a variety of activities the WPPS works closely with parents/carers, schools, the LA, local support services and voluntary organisations to increase parental understanding of special educational needs to enable parents/carers to become more involved in discussions relating to their children's educational development.

Wirral Parent Partnership wanted an interactive website that would help, inform and let users interact in a secure environment.

Working closely with Wirral Parent Partnership, Thirty Thirty designed a website that supplied a wide range of information in the form of web content and downloadable documents. All the administration of the site is done through Thirty Thirty’s easy to use Content Management System (CMS). Using this innovative application the staff at Wirral Parent Partnership can add/change/delete all the content and images on the site. Less than one hour’s training was required to master the system and no knowledge of HTML code is needed.

Wirral Parent Partnership wanted a forum area so that workers, teachers, parents, carers and children could interact and exchange information. Security was a prime requirement for this forum as the content displayed would be about children and would be of a highly confidential nature. Thirty Thirty set up a very secure forum area where password controlled access to the main forum is granted by the office administrator to approved users. The forum also has additional areas covering different specialised subjects which the office administrator wanted to control access to, again this is done by another layer of password access, giving extra security.

Wirral Parent Partnership now has a website that is a centre of excellence for their subject area. Office administration time and costs have been greatly reduced by the applications afforded through Thirty Thirty’s Content Management System.

Thirty Thirty also provided a great hosting package so the website can be supported and software applications updated as and when available.
