West Riding Opera is a long established amateur musical company. They put on one high-class production every year. In the past a very big problem for the organisers was to keep in contact with all their performers, musicians and production team to co-ordinate rehearsals, general meetings etc. This involved spending a lot of time (and money) making phone calls to everyone and then repeating the process when there were any last minute changes.

Now West Riding Opera has a stylish, themed website that not only advertises their shows, but also helps them organise all their activities. Thirty Thirty’s user friendly Content Management System ensures that the website is very easy to update. This enables the organisers to have full control over their own website and they can update all the content and images themselves without knowing a single piece of HTML code. Now site content can be changed at a moment’s notice, keeping all information displayed fresh and up to date.

With the dynamic, database driven Back Office supplied by Thirty Thirty all information broadcasting work now takes a couple of minutes. All the contact details of everyone connected with the Opera are kept on a secure database. This information can be allotted to various phonebooks (one person can be in more than one phonebook). The required message is entered either by typing in direct or cutting and pasting from a Word document, the recipients are selected (either individually or in groups) and the message is then sent at the press of a button. People can choose how they wish to be contacted, either by E-mail or SMS text messaging.
